Fouga is out

Okay, I remarked uptopic that I wasn't interested enough in this particular plane to buy a payware version when the excellent (for freeware) Restauravia version exists.

Then it went on sale this week on the Marketplace for $12.49. I had $10 in credit from Bing Rewards, so what the heck, for $2.49...

WOW. What a beautifully rendered model. The cockpit looks nice but the exterior detail's just wonderful. Sound's really nice.

As this is written (April 10, 2022) it's $12.49 on the MS Marketplace, and you can download an add-on from the Azurpoly website to enable weapons on the Marketplace model. Killer deal!

17 ozzie $ on Orbx for those who've been bitten by the marketplace.

How much better is the cockpit than the freeware version? Particularly in VR :)

Also, how do I find out how much Bing reward I have? Do I just try to pay using it?

I deleted the freeware one a while back, but everything here is a level of detail up. More importantly, the handling just feels more... Real. I haven't flown a Fouga-class plane IRL, but the handling just feels legit.

To see your Bing Rewards level, just go to rewards.bing.com. Between Bing searches and doing the weekly challenges on Xbox, I've gotten all the Asobo planes for free, and a couple of others as well. Paid $2.49 for the Fouga thanks to my $10 credit. :)

Thanks, I signed up but I think it will be a while before I have enough points to buy anything, no worries, next time :)
