    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

FR Bf-109G-3 Repaint

Here's an obscure paint I took a liking to. It's a repaint of the Flight Replica Bf-109G4 as a -3. The only visual difference is the new thicker heavier main landing gear and wheels.

"Blue 6" served with an 11.JG.2 (Richthofen) contingent on the Channel Front in early 1943.

Still have weathering to do and a proper readme. This saturday, maybe.

Thanks everyone. :mixedsmi: You're right, Huub, it is unusual. Only 50 G-3s were produced. Essentially a G-4 with a pressurized cockpit and different radio gear and antenna.

Blue 6 was probably painted in the field with RLM76,75,76.

BTW..it's uploaded.

Any Jane's WWII fans :wavey: lurking around here (QS?) may recognize this scheme as I did one for that sim about a year ago. Thought I'd try my hand on Flight Replicas beautiful model.
