From red to cream....or so...

Hi,

Years ago I downloaded the LAGO 'The Crossings'. One of the aircraft in the d/load is the SM79. It is very similar to the one in the picture below the cammo DC3 of Manfred Jahn. Manuele Villa has created another (beautiful) version of the plane, but with the humped back for a gunner and he has moved on to other projects.

I have downloaded Martin Wright's DXT and proved myself to be incapable of understanding how to make textures. Here is a pic of one of my efforts

I am wondering if some one can show me how to go from the red to the cream---

Even a set of instructions, using short words would be helpful.

thanks for any advice,

Andy.
