The Natural World 2017

I installed Howard's The Natural world 2017 after he sent me a link to both parts with password. Not bad considering the age of my laptop running FS9. It's a Dell Latitude D610. Good frames. You seen my name is Doyle in the screenshots. Nothing to hide but my smelly feet.:biggrin-new:

The flight is Minneapolis to Duluth in Minnesota. It has been very cloudy in that state for the last few days. Today was mild. Yesterday I got rained on in the sim hard and heavy. I was testing out the old freeware Massiv Thunderstorms from AVSIM.

The King Air 300 is from Allied FS Group

Some blurries but I forgot the equation to make a custom setting fitting my laptop which worked before for the texture_multi line in fs9.cfg

Is that airport in the ultralight shots payware or freeware? Nice smaller airport. Also a nice plane, and especially, the screenies.:applause:

I've recently been playing with this one and a few others.

Steve... its not Russian!

Hi matey.

Pete

I know, it's rare for me too paint such things but I do like the model, and felt the need for something different. The paint kit was not available when I tried too download it, so I took Nigel's Bare metal scheme and played around with it a bit.

Good lord that looks very much like Brian Quickmires's little bird up in Canada !! He's had his for decades. I reluctantly sold mine twenty years ago.. (marital discourse to put it mildly). Great little airplane. A bit of adverse yaw with those big windows in.. but manageable. the Brits specified a bigger vertical tail and Quad city produced it.. so if you DO find any issues, I'm sure they could supply you with one. When I built mine in the early 90's, they WOULDN'T sell it in N America (I guess that would be admitting they undersized it..LOL) but a couple of guys who fitted floats had UK friends order it.. then ship it back.. yeah.. :dizzy:

Enjoy!

There are a couple of birds with this paintjob. At some point I will probably repaint it, but right now Im in the process of repairing it (the wings have wholes in them that they are supposed to; I trailered it up to phoenix and the prop punched holes in the wings) and getting it ready to fly inside the mode c veil. Lots of fun stuff including learning how to do fabric repair. Here are some pics of the repair process:
