Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

FS2004 Screenshots Here!!!

Hi Steve,

Is this one among that half a dozen? There aren't that many repaints for the B version............

Cheers,
Huub

I thought the B model was fsx only ? or as usual I've missed something:biggrin-new:

Steve

You are right Steve, I'm mixing things up. Fs2004 has the recon version, FSX has the two-seater. That's what you get when you sniff virtual paint for to long :biggrin-new:

Cheers,
Huub

Nice ones Papi, Here's what I have been playing with. All early WIP shots.

Excellent WIP shots! The Germans always came up with some of the most unusual paint schemes for their WWII aircraft.

BB686:US-flag:

Shortage's of paint will do that, and, after looking at some schemes I also suspect some of the painters had been drinking the thinners.

german aircraft paints

Hallo friends,
with the french paints of the Heinkel He 162 I wanted to launch a new idea for other repainters:
why not to make repaints of surviving german aircrafts "under new management" ?
Some has survived until today, sadly most have been scrapped. Those surviving today are repainted
in german colors. I believe it might be interesting also to remember when thoe aircraft weared other than the german
uniform.
Yours
Papi

I got some time on this one tonight, still plenty left too do.

Always loved the 262 in all the sims (even SWOTL!!), and that skin's a beauty, look forward to the rest.

ps. Isn't that a Heinkel factory defender ac scheme?

Nice work Steve & Papi,

the images below are a test. I have a new monitor and I need to see whether the images which I make with this monitor look similar on another monitor................

No Idea Shessi.

But I have had some time this weekend working on it, Just The wing leading edges, gun smoke, and the stabs left too complete on this scheme.

From what you can find on interweb, it would appear to be
KG(J) 54, the bomber unit KG54, after it had converted to operations with the Me262
