A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Military skins - Cold War

Description: F-80B-1-LO Shooting Star 45-8648 #34, 22nd FS, 36th FG, during the Berlin Air Lift. This aircraft was sent from Howard AFB in Panama to Germany for the Berlin Airlift in 1948.


This is for the FSX native conversion of the old FS2004 former payware AlphaSim F-80.

Thank you in particular for this one, Willy. This is the paint that "dragged" me into the F-80 redux project - my dad flew in the Big 22 at Bitburg in its F-105 era, sitting Victor Alert, ready to deliver nukes on a one-way ride to Warsaw Pact targets. He was thrilled to see the fighting bee on this jet, and will be flying it with us in MP soon.

I have my own memories of making the grade in fighters and being lucky enough to visit the Big 22 a generation later. You brought all of this back in our family with this paint. Many thanks, my friend.
