Ok Fs9 computer experts. My main Fs9 comp now matches the stats of my main FSX computer. Look at my sig for its stats. With those stats what tweeks do you suggest to me to get maximum full power outa FS9 with out it blinking or stabbing me two week later with maintaince like FSX. Dont get me wrong FSX has her set of quarks, but i love how she runs and thats what counts, and so now I must configure Fs9 to her new computer home. So any tips and advice appreciated Fs9 new computer install 1st flight scheduled in two weeks.
 
With my current rig I don't think I've had to make any config file tweaks to get FS9 to run fast and with all the graphics turned to maximum except for the mip maps slider. Turning that to maximum always results in graphics weirdness (usually the lights), regardless of the computer.
 
With that setup u shouldn't have to do a thing except load the sim set everything to max and go fly!
 
Tonites fun is Running two computers with one AMD Phemon, the other a i7. Lets see what FS9 will blow up in full blast run. Last night the Phemon won with FSX and the i7 is KIA.
