Under the hood, GoFish uses a real species database powered by scientific occurrence data (OBIS + GBIF) and a custom WASM engine. Every catch is driven by where you are, the current month, time of day, and whether you’re in freshwater, saltwater, or brackish environments.
An integrated in‑sim EFB app (tablet-style interface) handles everything: starting/stopping fishing, choosing bait and line, managing reel and drag, and reviewing your catch history.

They better not do a darn Golfing sim lol. I do need a Cutter, there's a few fishing boats off Alaska I need to chase raid. Gotta fill up my galley for the holidays.
