Thank you for your many years of support of our hobby.
GAS has been part of the golden age of flight simming & has given the community many hours of fun & enjoyment.
Sad to see yet another great sim developer 'vanish'.

I will admit your aircraft are some of my favorites for FS9 and were partly the reason (along with Bill and Lynn Lyons) that I came up with the whole, "Platinum Wings," concept a few years back.

Thank you for all the hard work and inovation that you have given us over the years to several platforms!

Saludos!

Maybe gone, but not forgotten. My favourite is the Lockheed L12 Jr, was involved in the FS9 beta for this one, so obviously drawn towards it.

One of my favorite airplanes in FlightSim period is the GAS Boeing Model 40. It's both easy to fly and a blast!

Thanks for your Contributions to FlightSim! :very_drunk:

Where can I a/ get my sticky paws on that^^^ and b/ has anyone done a repaint for the ex-Sidney Cotton aircraft?

Miggers,

that was my main reason for getting involved in this, the FS9 version was being debated at the time and I went in hard to try and convince them to go ahead, thus ended up beta testing it. Good news is it comes with the Sidney Cotton repaint, albeit with caveats*.

As to where, to get it, not sure now. I felt guilty getting it for free via testing, so I bought it upon release to support them.

*some specific model details are not present as it is the base model, Olé Sid made some alterations to suit his needs (window blisters and such)

Granted, G-AGTL was used by Sidney post-war, F was probably what we were both after, really.

Hi Miggers, I saw that link in the other thread, can't read it without subscribing, shame, I think it would be interesting.
