how much did they Model inside the VC ? can you walk around into the back of the plane :jump: i have been waiting for a B-17F for a while

Just had an email from PCAviator telling me it was now on sale for $14.20. Followed the link and it had shot up to $22.95!!! Could it be more if you specify those teurbochargers??:biggrin-new:

EDIT: PCA have just confirmed the price as $22.95.. as if it was ever going to be $14.20 anyway!! Tempted but I still think I'll wait until the dust has settled;)

If you guys are in the U.S., can I recommend buying directly from Aeroplane Heaven itself? In general, most developers make more if you buy directly from their websites.

Looks great! Finally a B-17 that was also used in the Pacific.
I'll go and get it tonight.

The iconic photo shows "Aztec's Curse" from the 26th bomb group, maneuvering after an attack around Ghizo Island, Solomons,

Just now took her up on a test drive out of Miramar (KNKX) and flew around off San Diego. Test firing the guns, dropping bombs, turning on lights, peeking in the windows. Twilight landing at North Island (KNZY). This is a really great airplane and a perfect companion to the WoP B-17G. Thank you Baz and crew at Aeroplane Heaven. :encouragement:
 
Glad you like her and thankyou for buying.

For those who would like to attempt taking her back to the US from England for a War Bonds tour, you'll find an extra set of tanks in the aircraft CFG. They are commented out for general use but if you un-comment them back in, you may have enough fuel to get home using the Northern route. You'll also have enough fuel for longer missions especially in the Pacific.:engel016:
 
Starting to look the part. Still need to do some stenciling on her and i'm not to sure on the stars-n-bars. Some profiles show her the way I have her now and some show with just the star. :dizzy: But I've always liked them with the red outline.
