Greg Pepper has passed away.

Sad news indeed. Even for those who did not know him personally, you almost couldn't be a part of the Flight Sim Community and not have been familiar with the name Greg Pepper. His love and enjoyment of his craft was a part of every aircraft he modeled and we are the beneficiaries of that genius. Rest in Peace Greg. . .you will be missed.

It is indeed a very sad day for virtual aviation. Greg's DC-7s have given me countless hours of enjoyment since I discovered them at CalClassic. Now, I couldn't imagine having a hangar that didn't include so many of his beautiful planes.

Every time I fly one of his planes now, I'll likely look to the sky and say a silent word of gratitude before I go to takeoff power.

Sorry to hear this about a member of the flightsim community. May he rest in peace. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

Best wishes to his friends and family. And deep heartfelt gratitude to Greg for all that he has done...

I am saddened to hear of Greg's passing. I just finished downloading and installing the HU-16 v2 for FS2004 from Avsim before coming here. Greg had a wonderful talent for great mesh that appeared exceedingly accurate with low overhead. His contributions have been enjoyed by many for a lot of years and I am certain that will continue.

Thank you Greg Pepper for all your contributions.

Greg's KC-97e is what made me take the plunge into FS2004. Still my all time FS2004 favorite......

Thanks for all the good times Greg.....

Tommy

A talented modeler and a great loss to the FS community. He will be missed.

A very sad day for the FS community indeed. I have enjoyed many of his fine models over the years. God bless, Greg.

I am very sorry to hear about Greg's passing. My condolences to his family and friends.

When I started sim flying 5 years ago, it was mainly because I wanted to fly those planes that I loved watching from when I was a wee boy. Greg had made the majority of them (Convairs, DC-6s, DC-7s, Strats) and they still belong to my most favourite planes to fly.

Greg, thank you very much for the good times you have brought me.

Maarten

A "black" day for the FS community. I flown many of his fine liners. God bless, Greg.
