Heads up... Fokker Mk500

Hi
I've been having some slow and low(ish) fun with this. For anyone with FSUIPC 7 I have a little guide here for getting the HP levers
assigned to spare axis (I find mouse control a real pain).

I love the plane - arguably in the top 3 best freeware airliner offerings for this sim, in my view, and @Skyhawk18 's repaints have made it a dream.

The Balair and SAS paints were 2 of my 3 hoped for schemes - you've done an amazing job of them. Balair will get used on the Geneva-Zurich runs, and occasionally longer hops into holiday hot spots. What a gorgeous gem of a scheme.

Thanks so much.

I saw that but am sticking with the original as the author stated in manual that the gps was originally excluded as it interferes with authentic vor /adf ap behaviour. Just flight admitted that they had a great vor nav setup in the payware f28 (which I own) but crippled it to shove a gps in there.
I've been using the f27 instead of the f28 for the outstanding steam guage vor tracking behaviour. In real life the f28 is /was cat II certified but the sim plane would never pass an FAA inspection.
This might sound petty (I AM self aware!) but there are multiple cases of devs making compromises with their planes when converting from previous sims to the Asobe way of doing things so I'm trying to make a small stand here!
I noted this on the download page but got typically shouted down.

Edit: if you have the original, page 43 of manual explains the omission of the substandard gps.

@jankees - your USN repaint is superb! Thanks (and for those that don't know, it's over on fs.to: https://flightsim.to/file/86748/fokker-f27-us-navy-1616128

Any chance you'd consider this lovely bird: saw it (or a related airframe) in my former life many years ago ....

She performed sterling, if unsung service

Just saw it on .TO and grabbed it. Thanks Jan. I have an inquiry out to the Air New England FB page asking what routes the 27 flew for them. I know they at least did the Boston/Burlington route. And probably the Bangor/Boston run as well

My memories are of preflighting a C-150 on the ramp at KEEN and hearing the scream of the Darts on Air New England on the other side. Later on with my Commercial we’d sometimes have a charter to KLGA in our Seneca when Air New England was short of passengers and “had a mechanical” for a cancellation.

Thanks Jankees! Much appreciated.

Steve
