Heinkel He100 D new model project.

He 100D flight dynamics

Hallo Motormouse,
gloups I believed the aircraft.cfg to be the more important part.
Also for me it seems more comprehensive than the airfile
there a re a lot of details I do not see in the airfile as just the number of cylinders, in line or V-engine or a radial nore the power of the engine
these details seem to be important, or I' m so wrong?
Until now when "playing" with the aircraft.cfg I come very close to what I wanted to get (after often very long times)
I must admit I neverlearned about all the subject just di find out by "fiddeling" and I was most the time happy with the outcome
But allways be open to learn more
Every advices will be taken and studdied
but for the moment my problems are very other and I have not a lot of hope they could be solved in the near future
Yours
Papi

Still a long way to go

Beautiful panel Papi! And I'm curious to see what you made of the flight dynamics.

"In comparison, the Heinkel He112 had 2,885 parts and 26,864 rivets, while the P.1035 (the He100 first prototype) was made of 969 unique parts with 11,543 rivets."

So I guess I was lucky Chris didn't do the He112!

Still some work to do, but I'm slowly getting there!

That's already looking great Huub! You are working from the original textures?

:adoration:

Cees

Thanks Cees! As I don't have a line drawing, I have started from the original textures but did draw a completely new paintkit over it. Some items like the wheel hubs are too complex to draw again, so they will most probably remain.

Huub

Mav, when I look at the image below, I think the pilot in Chris/Shessi's model is a quite good image of the pilot who climbs in the real aircraft......

But that's we exactly hat I tried to say! The face of the pilot in the image has the same expression. And the comment with the picture doesn't tell whether he has to rush in or out the plane...... :a1310:

Cheers,
Huub

But I can always make my "Ito-San" version of the pilot available for you....

He 100D paints

Hallo friends,
I have seen that there are some interesting paint possibilities
especially the civil versions.
Would it be possible to get one completely neutral, just as it came out from the works with out paints and markings?
Yours
Papi

Papi,

The first paints I wanted to to were the "Schwarzgrün/Dunkelgrün" propaganda schemes. After which I will do the "Hellgrau" D-IDGH version. As the current paint kit is set-up to deal with the very dark camouflage schemes, it will need some adjustments to look convincing with the light grey livery. Once I have finished the D-IDGH, I will make a blank version available for you.

Kind regards,
Huub

in the meanwhile....
