I Need Some Help Please......

A good friend of mine, M/SGT William Nutter who is a 91 year old WWII vet, is laid up with a broken pelvis and rib, plus a punctured lung. He fell off a 12 foot ladder a few weeks ago and is slowly recuperating. Pain is wicked from what I was told lastnight by a lady at a facility where he's staying to heal and get therapy. He needs our thoughts and prayers to get him up and back out there with us.

Besides, I'm gonna chew out his little butt for pulling a stunt like this when he had all kinds of help from those of us that are close by, and didn't need to get on that 12 foot ladder at his age. Why he was up there I've no idea, but he needs our help getting him on the road to recovery. And he will be missed next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for our Wings of Freedom Tour here at KILG.

A little background:
M/SGT Nutter was with the 91st BG 835th Air Engineering Maintainence and Tech Services of the 8th Army Air Force in England. He received the Bronze Star for his services, and was inducted into the Delaware Hall of Heros on 2-19-00. Bill was the one that fixed the major problems with the B-17s when no one else could. He is one supper fellow and can he tell some great stories.

Prayers for William are coming from this location and will continue to do so until he is healed, home and happy.

And, GT, thanks for being there for William.

Did my part for him ... don't know how much pull I have though !!!

Get well M/SGT Nutter. :engel016:

And thank you sir.

Well I''m just a kid, being 10 years younger than Billy. But there something I know for sure. You don't go climbing on anything when your over eighty years of age. I don't care how sexy she is.
Get well Bill, you've been taught a painful lesson.

Thanks guys. And yes Mike, he'll get an ear full of what HD said. ;) LOL I sure want to see him around for a long time to come. He's a real treat to listen to.

Well then I guess that's my mistake then ... I thought it was a 10 foot step ladder ... I didn't read between the lines and understand what was actually being said ...

Sure it wasn't nice of him to call her a stepladder ... mebbe that's why she threw him??!!??
