• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

If my death is related to bacon..

Ed...it´s a true story, i was in line at this Mcdonalds, this GIRL ordered a Big Mac with extra bacon, full set of fries.....and "A diet Coke, pls, i´m trying to cut on sugar"....my brother (who was behind me) whispered to me"wonder if she is on a low carb diet as well", but high enough to be listened by a guy next to us...we all explode on laughter!!!...
If you go to one of those places to get stuffed by "bad fat" do it properly, man!

PS: She wasn´t fat either, maybe one of those gifted human beings that can eat a full Chevy Impala and not gain an ounce! (just like my wife!)

I have an Uncle who will down a family size portion of fried rice with all the fixin's (beef, pork, shrimp, chicken, et al) and drinks a diet coke. Except he does it because "he prefers the taste of diet soda". Are you kidding me? I'm not a big soda drinker but diet taste a little like :bs: to me .
 
mix the big fat steak fries with bacon and cheese, it's the appetizer that beats them all.

take some frozen corn, and some already cooked bacon, fry it up in a pan, eat
it totally rocks.

subtitute bacon for pancetta every time. it ALWAYS works better.
 
Yep. Bacon Log. I'd eat that. Along with some nice Hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, and Biscuits & Gravy. Maybe some grits too. :wavey:
 
Some folks like me can only drink diet sodas for medical reasons. I've gotten quite used to the taste and now a regular soda tastes like drinking flavored pancake syrup.

As for that bacon wrap, it does look interesting but I'd have to settle for just a small bit of it.

Hey, I'm like Willy. I just like the taste of diet soda -- no medical reasons involved. Regular soda is just like pancake syrup. I almost gag on it.
 
WAIT- THE "SECRET OF jOY REVEALED" bacon = PANCETTA see ya' !!
