Hi guys, following my usual pattern of letting a couple of years go by before jumping to a new sim platform, I purchased P3D this weekend. Very impressed with version 3.3 so far!

Couple of questions I didnt see answered elsewhere.

1. How can I reduce the font size on the Shift+Z red lettering when turned on in the upper left corner? its huge. I run at 2560x1440 res in the sim. The font on the tool bar is huge as well.

2. The GPS in P3D doesnt seem to have a moving map? Thats odd.

3. I noted that default P3D doesnt have a C172, DC3 or 737... which are the best ones to get as payware or freeware that work in P3D? I am in particular interested in a C-172 etc. The Carenado one says it supports P3D but I cant get it to install under version 3.3.

4. Where do I go to find the best tweaks for FPS?? Not too unhappy in mid 20's but it could be faster. My PC should be able to handle it.

5. Does this version of flight sim make better use of RAM? etc?

Are you sure you have version 3.3? LM website shows only version 3.2. As each P3Dversion is very specific, as this is a very fluid program which is constantly being updated, with each update covering a lot of items. Listing the wrong version will get you the wrong answer in most cases.

As to your specific questions, in v3.2, there are some threads covering them, both here and in the LM P3D forums.
