I now have all the components for final assembly of the package.

Thanks. There was what appeared to be a thumb print right in the middle of the image. I got it all removed, and now time for a bit of cowl shading. That part will come later as the 57 progress's.

I'm also working on the RK.12 for the Avia51.

Just a quick note
I will make this one available sometime after release of the Avia 156/51 package. Still more to do before it's finished.

Kudos to Milt & Crew for once again causing a jaw dropping response to their latest efforts. These are really cool examples of what was and thanks the guys is once more. I must admit they both are tough to land in that they float down reluctantly. Took me several attempts to get 'em down successfully at Duxford -- mostly becasue I couldn't get the speed down to 90 soon enough. It's almost as though they really didn't want to call it a day. Fortunately, they have enough power to get back up before I took out the trees at the end of the runway.

Anyway, I'm adding some light mods and will upload them soon both here and the fs9 forum. Thank goodness Shockwave setups are pretty much the same between sims. As usual, there isn't much to tweak on a Shupe offering.

Thanks for the upcoming light mods.

These aircraft do not have flaps so you have to plan your descent as a longer, less steep approach.

Stall is at ~60MPH (52 kias) so any attempt to land at 80 or 90 is way over vspeed.

Get you speed down, and land at about 62-65 MPH (not knots) and she will drop in very sweetly without bounce.
And she loves the grass strips as well.

As with any aircraft, you must learn the vspeeds, and fly (and land) accordingly. :wiggle:
