BAH HUMBUG, LOL!!

I like the snowflake machine. Problem is, someone needs to fix the snow plow. I always get caught by so much accumulation that it makes the forum lag. It would be nice to see some form of Christmas atmosphere around this place.

Yea what he said..Ho Ho Ho..

I must say I am very disappointed. It appears that the Political Correctness police have struck this site.As a Christian (and not a good one as I only attend church for weddings (as long as it is not mine), funerals (again as long as it is not mine), Christmas and Easter) and very politically incorrect I firmly believe in the words "Happy or Merry Christmas". I am against changing our traditions just so we do not offend some obscure minority group.

The first six letters of the word Christmas highlight what the season is all about, the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ. This is what we should be celebrating instead of calling it a holiday.

Imagine if the PC police decided that you could no longer say "Happy Thanksgiving", how would you Americans handle that.

Here in Australia some schools have actually changed the words to some Christmas Carols. One in particular is "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" where the words were changed to "We Wish You Happy Holidays".They have even told the kids that there are no such things as Christmas presents. They are holiday presents.

Lets get back to the real meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ, and stop pandering to minority groups.

Finally I finish with:

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Pat, I can't say anything about other areas of the US. But here in rural Tennessee, Christmas is very much alive and well.

MERRY CHRISTMAS YALL!
