• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Hello there, I got Microsoft flight and tried to play it and get an error message saying ''microsoft flight cannot run because the shader version on your video card does not meet the minimum requirements. Please review the system requirements on Microsoft flight website.''
I have Shader 5.0! Can anybody help me? I'm desperate to fly but this stupid thing wont run. my system requirements are above the minimum required.
 
Make sure your video card drivers are up to date, and reboot after installing the game. What video card do you have?
 
I think your video card is really on the low end of the scale for playing games on. Even though 5450 is a numerically higher number then the mimimum spec of 4400, it does not perform that way.

Reading this review, http://www.techspot.com/review/244-ati-radeon-hd-5450/ the 5450 is really at the bottom of the list in performance. Its possible that it may not be enough to run Flight.
