• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Okay, SOH folks....just flew my Wings of Power P-51D down to Barksdale AFB (the Alphasim scenery with the B-47 AI) and did 3 go-arounds before parking it amongst the B-47's....thought I saw Mr. P out on the flightline....:wave:

I grew up on Barksdale and I gotta admit that the AS scenery is very nice...

Don't worry, Henry, I'll buzz your house on the way back North....:wavey:

No. It was his re-action to a thread, he banned himself because of his responce. Panther is being much too hard on himself! I walked away for a short period becuase of the same post (not Panthers the other person's). Only I'm not as disciplined as Panther and should have stay away longer! Best thing we can do is leave him alone! He'll be back when he is ready. It's a given that we all miss him! He's a vertebrate in the backbone of this website!
 
Regrets

Well Guys,

Regarding the uproar involved around Panthers self imposed banning from SOH, and then MudMarine following suite, I regret that it was my post that set in motion these events. I had not taken into account the fact that there were still people out there who cared less about good folk such as we have here. I feel I need to make a contribution here after reading posts in Canelo's Cantina and in this thread. My mistake was to have wished America well on the inauguration of their President. I am a former Naval serviceman of officer rank. Those who have served know well that we do not partake in politics and I sure wish I had not made the original post that has lead to the fragmentation of our good members.

Yep... I agree with Willy. I thought it was pretty honorable on your behalf. Some turned it into a bad ordeal.
