Shalom and greetings all my pals,

If there is any laptop user among all of you who uses P3D version 3 or later, please come forward and post here any tips, advices, and suggestions for any laptop user such as me who just bought P3D version 3 meaning I am totally new to P3D and is not well versed with P3D while flying on FSX for 8 or 9 years.

Thanks and looking forward to tips, advices, and suggestions from any laptop user who is pro in using P3D version 3 or later.

Regards,

Aharon

Hi Aharon,
If you've been using FSX for years you really shouldn't have any difficulties with P3D. The only thing that you need to consider is that P3D is more graphics card dependent than FSX, otherwise it's virtually the same but better.

I used an ASUS for a bit with FSX running fair, and P3Dv2. Then upgraded to an Alienware gaming laptop that run P3Dv3 very well but we are talking serious specs 980gtx 8GB with 32GB ram and an i7 @2.5 OC'd to 4.3 gHz.

Your mileage may vary depending on specs especially if using Intel onboard graphics as opposed to an actual video card. But it is able to be run.

Thanks all for replies and MORE replies from more of all of you please.

Ksheadley, I have 1080gtx 6GB, 16GB ram, and an i7 sixth generation Skylarke @2.5 ghz that always run at 3.15 gHz. Hope it is good for both FSX and P3D.

Regards,

Aharon
