Library search

1. Click on the 'Resources' text link at the top of this page (the old 'Library' is now called 'Resources' in the new forum software).
2. Click on the 'Search resources' text link at the top of the new page.
3. Pick the keywords and/or uploader you want to search for and also pick the categories you want to search in.
4. Once you have made all your selections click on the 'Search' button at the bottom of the page.
5. Scroll through the results to find what you are looking for.

Hope that helps!

Thanks Tako.
I thought I was doing it correctly. I was querying in the wrong space. found what I was looking for with your help.
I was in the old library a lot, but since the change I had not been in it as much. thought the old library was easier to search.

Actually the new search function is way better once you get used to it but it does help if the uploaders include 'tags' to make searching more accurate.

Sadly, we still cannot search for some of the most common text strings like "F4M" or "P47" because they are deemed to be too short or too common. And "F-4M", "F.4M" and "P-47D" are also illegal because of the use of punctuation. And when I have tried enclosing the search string in quotation marks, I have had inconsistent results . . .

So, as Larry says, more use of 'tags' is the way we should be going, especially if these are used consistently . . .
