I used to own a Windows 95 computer up until about 2 years ago. I had quite a few text files made and saved by Lotus Word Pro 95, so they are in .LWP format. I backed them up and kinda forgot about them until yesterday when I stumbled across them and the Lotus Smart Suite 95 CD. Interested, I popped the data CD into my laptop to see what the files are. I try opening them up with MS Office 2007, but no luck. All I get is gibberish. Tryed with Microsoft Works, same thing. I thought I'd try installing Lotus Word Pro for Win3.1/Win95 on my WinXP laptop to convert them. The install doesnt work. It crashes part way through. I guess it's probably because it was never meant to be run on this new of a machine...
My question is this: Are there any kinds of plug-ins avaliable for Office 2007 to read these files? thanks:typing:

UPDATE: I managed to get Lotus Smart Suite 96 installed. Just had to change the compatability settings to Windows 95 before running the setup. Now I can convert to .DOCX format.:woot:
