hi there can anyone give me the original cfg viewpoints for the maam sim c47 and the dc 3 cargo as I played about and lost the originals by not copying them . trying to lower the vc viewpoint
cheers greycap

Greycap,

I think the default DC3 was the starting point for the MAAM DC3, therefore the viewpoint might be the same.

Just an idea....

Do you mean these:

[Views]
eyepoint=8.6, -1.3, 5.4

Both are the same for passenger and cargo version

Strange how this elderly but still good old bird came up again.

Greycap,

Here you can find an explanation of all the mysteries you can find in the aircraft configuration file.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/pr...t-esp/cc526949(v=msdn.10)?redirectedfrom=MSDN

from this page: "Positions of aircraft components are given relative to the datum reference point for the aircraft, in the order: longitudinal, lateral, vertical. The convention for positions is positive equals forward, to the right, and vertically upward. Units are in feet.
I assume the same sequence is valid for the viewpoint as well.

Cheers,
Huub
