• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

McCoy Water effects

With the Grumman Goose, was having wake issues using the McCoy effects. I got in touch with the author, Vince MC Coy, he advised me to use a program that will lower the goose in the

water thus activating the McCoy effect. I did, and now it is fine. He did mention that he didn't recommend any of his effects for use in P3D v4.5 or higher because of how all effects have been

revised by Laminar Research. They've sped up timings or execution speeds but on his copy of v4.5 they all still work, just not as intended. Another problem he noticed with the Grumman Goose G21A

is that the stock aircraft does not sit low enough in the water to activate his effect, he addressed this problem along with a solution that involves revising the config file and try "Grumman Goose

Realism Fix" by Stefan Weiss. https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/17809/fsx-grumman-goose-realism-fix/
