Flight Sim Junkie
I'm starting to believe that 2024 has memory management issues just like every flight sim before it regardless of being told otherwise. I took a flight from Katmandu to Lukla last night which had the Aerosoft scenery installed. The flight went surprisingly well, and I was enjoying being able to finally take a decent flight in 2024. However, as soon as I got to the top of the runway where the majority of the scenery is, I had a CTD. Everything was going well up to that point. Why is it that flight sims have so much trouble managing PC memory? I can't recall any other game (or sim) that I've used before that has had this trouble.

Attempting to fly out of KTVL, South Tahoe airport an enhanced airport, no runways or parking location ever appeared. So trying to use the default fly that shows at that location ended in CTDs on several tries. I don't know if this a unique problem on my PC or a general problem. I have problems changing aircraft. Sometimes I get an aircraft used in the last flight or a livery different from the one selected. Selecting a livery often shows as the one selected, but is different when going to fly. Maybe I need to reinstall which I'm loathe to do. :confused:

Hey Lou, Yes, it does. Asobo has identified a VRAM issue that's supposed to be addressed with sim update 2. Sim update 1 is supposed to be released before the end of Feb (18th or 25th), and sim update 2 is currently scheduled for April.
