A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Military - Jets

Description: This rebuild of the stock CFS3 Me 262A-1. Exterior and Interior model reworked and cleaned up. Mostly the Interior/VC model. The model is on the basic side as just has moving parts and working VC. No LODs, breaking parts or mouse-able switches and levers. Uses MAPE auto spoiler gauge for the wing slats. Re-texture of Hauke Keitel "KiDI" XML gauges used for the engines. Re-texture done using CFS3 gauge textures so the engine gauges better match the CFS1 gauges used on the main cluster. Flight Dynamics are from Combat Flight Simulator 3 and could really use work IMO.

Comes with 3 textures "Yellow 8" JG 7, "D-IMTT", the Messerschmitt Stiftung's replica Me 262 and a fictional gray paint sort of based off of Franz Stigler "White 3" JV 44. Also works in my copy of FSX Gold. I'm not a FS04 or FSX person so if change need to be made feel free to do so.

Like the proverbial London buses, you see none for ages and then three come along at once!! :biggrin-new:

A very welcome addition, thank you Allen.

Very nicely done allen. I like how you integrated the modern replica into the tailhook command. dont think ive seen a function like that before. :)

Not sure why, but the auto glow of the engines doesnt work on the A model, but does on the B. Ive compared both cfg files and they both use the same lights to be triggered, ive looked at both panel cfg and theyre the same, and ive looked at the cab file for the xml codes for each fx and they have the same lines of code. very odd. its nothing major, just something odd...:banghead:

Despite my best efforts the glow effect seem to be just janky at times for me. Try removing Me262!Eng_FX_1 and Me262!Eng_FX_1 gauges from the 2d panel [Window00] section only for the A-1 and report back.

Download updated. Model updated to add bottom antenna and belly strobe light housing when model is displayed as replica "D-IMTT". Note Lights in the aircraft.cfg NOT updated. Panel.cfg updated to hopefully make the engine glow effect more reliable, All A-1 Variations.

Thank you very much Allen for adding those additions to the replica A model. And yes, that was panel cfg edit did the trick for the engine glow. Now works perfectly

thann you for all your hard work on giving is this model for fs9 mate, very very appreciated. Especially the replica A model and it’s modern touches :)

Model updated as during the last update for D-IMTT I somehow reverted the forward canopy frame to an older version that has bad black texturing. This fixes it.
