I saw that today while updating some modules. I'm anxious to read the feedback and see some of the pictures.
Why are you not anxious to install that Spad and fly the wings off of it ? (same goes for you Paul....) (kidding more or less ;-). This IS the SOH, isn't it ??!! Home of the warbird lovers exclusively, right ?... Here's a warbird if ever there was and (almost) nobody is home....(i've seen this before.... )
Oh, well, you don't know what you're missing boys ! It's a keeper !!
Although i have to say this with a bit of reservation.... Certainly not scepticism..., reservation. Something is not right with the flightmodel i think and there's something funny going on in the cockpit as well. Which btw looks fantastic ! As does the exterior model !! (AFAIK) But that may well have to do with sort of a warning in a (rather brief) document about the Skyraider that says that care should be taken to create a 'New, Clean Keybind Profile' otherwise some instruments or peripherals may not work correctly or won't work at all. MillTech says it may well be a bug and the're working on it. I have not done so yet (create a new clean A1 profile) and some important instruments are indeed not working. She flies sort of Oké nontheless but i still think the FM needs more work. ( and i haven't been able to find a manual so far, i was hoping to find maybe an answer about that here but guess what.... Skyraider ???..... Huh ???!!...

)
At the first ( on the ground with idle or low rpm) i thought the sound was fantastic but once in the air (ahem....) my initial enthousiasm faded a bit. Still a very good base to get a real good immersive soundsuite out of it with some tweaking done here and there. I sure hope that'll go for the FM as well.
In short i think it's a fantastic model, i love it, but i also think it's not completely finished yet. Certainly not an 'Early Access' model (ahem....) far from it ! But it does need more work, atleast IMHO.
Honorable mention : there's a nice vibration all over the place inside the cockpit (and also outside to some extent) once that Wright R-3350-26WA Duplex-Cyclone monster is kissed to life. Love that ! Although i guess it might well be reduced a bit once the monster is tamed and happily purring away. I guess lots of work for Jan Kees and colleagues. F.i. i'd have no problem with atleast some of the sea going birds in their brightly colored feather dress to be a lot less dirty. Maybe even a couple fresh from the factory for display purpose only. ;-)
Few screenies then for you, Stryker:
To be continued....
