It's from the pack "Spitfire Wing" which I think I got from Simviation. The thing is that you can use either stock aircraft or 1% aircraft, but the readme says to go to mudpond.us for the the 1 % planes and that site is now mudpond .org and offers no aircraft to download.Yup, what Mongoose said. I don't have that one either, so put in another a/c or use
stock 'spitfire_ixe' to test. Curious to know which mission (pack) this might be.
Cheers
I'll give it a go.Thanks.
As I said here I will try it. Another weird issue is on one of the whatif missions I installed, it shows that the plane a "bf_109f_4" is missing and I installed a plane with that exact name. I might have to change the planes name too to see if it corrects the problem. Thanks to all three of you for your help.Well I have most gb ac but not this. Suggestion. Open mission xml file with notepad and replace all mentions of this ac with another Mk. ix.
As per your suggestion, I did this in the particular xml mission file. Used "3 Spitfire_IXc" in place of the one you listed and the mission flew fine. Also, I did not notice that the "3 Spitfire_XIc" appeared in the in-game plane list until just recently and the "3gb_spitfire_ixe" didn't. The 3gb plane was in the main folder aircraft list and the other name was not. Just kind of weird. Thanks again.
