Mustangs are go!

Thank you for your service gentlemen! I cannot even imagine being in such a position as you describe. I feel very fortunate that I could celebrate it with family.

And no Cody, I didn't get that lucky, nor was I looking to. :)

Tienmac, I will look into it for you. From what you describe, it almost sounds like a CD order instead of a download version, but I don't handle that so I don't really know myself.

I purchased the Mustang III download about 10 hours ago and I haven't recieved an email with the link to download. How long did it take you fellows to recieve an email back? The website said 2 to 7 days. I can't wait that long. I want to fly this aircraft today on Rememberance Day. Thanks, Tienmac.

Tienmac,

That's essentially what happened to me. I saw the "2 - 7 days" thing and went back to check on the amount I had been charged. It was the boxed set amount... I could have sworn I selected download, but thought later that I had screwed up (which I probably did). Anyhow, I'm outside standing by the mail box now... It would be nice if it worked like the Wile E. Cyote cartoons, where he orders a new bomb making kit by mail, and the truck arrives ten seconds later!

Better late than never:
Hope you had a great day John!

I remember oh so well Panther referred to you as that seventeen year old....Been four years already since then!

WH, that is actually a problem you will find with just about any FS9 aircraft...it is a glitch in the FS9 engine itself. It is annoying.
Thanks for the quick response, Bomber. I thought it was something like that.

Got the updated files. Thanks again. Things keep getting better, and better. :applause::applause:

And Happy Birthday, BTW. :ernae:

Thanks Paul, I checked my history on IE and I selected the download version. I hope it gets sorted out, as I was wishing to fly this airplane on my day off. Tien

Missing Links!!

Hi Folks!

If anybody does not receive the download link sent to their email address:
Please check your spam blocking settings on your machine, it may well be sitting in your blocked messages.
If this is not successful then contact:
support@warbirdsim.com and we will look into your query.

The link should come through quickly. On my tests, it was there within 2 minutes.

Hope that helps.

Payment problems

Hi Folks!

Sorry a few people are experiencing problems with the payment page.
Just a teething problem that we hope to sort out today if we can.

Most Card types are acceptable.

When you go through to the Paypal page. You should then be able to pick paypal, or alternatively, on the left of the screen there are boxes showing card types, next to this there is a button which which will allow you to enter your card details.

If anyone has any further problems contact support@warbirdsim.com

Feel stupid to ask this question....how do you start the engine? Followed the start check list, she won't turn over.
Bob

Forget it everyone, got it started. Removed the drop tanks but did not switch to a tank that had fuel in it. :redf:

Just ordered mine....decided to bite the bullet and order the Fighter Leader Pack....won't have a chance to fly it 'til the weekend, though. Regardless....You have to thank Alphasim....this money WAS earmarked for the T-34C Turbo Mentor, but since they made the announcement for an FSX only product, my hard earned $$$ go to the more deserving developer. Thanks John!

Bomber and Warbert, I just wanted to say thank you. I'm downloading the Fighter Leader pack as I type. Happy Birthday, John. I'm sorry I'm late in my wish...

Been flying the wings off of these Ponies since installing them earlier, and I am pleased beyond measure.... Total immersion is a hopeless understatement for these planes. WOW!:medals::jump::ernae::applause:

Thank you everyone for your purchases, and I am thrilled to hear that you are enjoying it so much! The screenshots are all excellent! Though I wish I would have tested the glass textures with some other envmap variations besides the default example. :)

I reached a mile stone this morning, with the last of the bump maps made for the FSX variants, with work still remaining on some part/animation codes.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes as well! For my birthday I got a very nice collection of several large, framed images of various Mustangs, which were under the possession of a fellow Mustang 'nut'. One of the photos is one of the first original blown up photos, taken of the P-51C "Redtail/Tuskegee Airmen" on its first test flight, and another is of a P-51D while serving with the Minnesota Air National Guard. They all really help to finish off the look of my bedroom/office. :)

I guess while I'm talking Mustangs, Bomber, do you have this one on the table for one of your texture packs?

Quicksand, as I originally promised you, I do have that one made. I might end up releasing it as a free repaint once the paintkit is made available, shortly. ;)
