Just a quick video of me flying my Simpit around Castlegar (CYCG) in British Columbia.

Love the setup... have any pics of it w/ the lights on? And it seems pretty smooth..was that fsx? and what kind of specs do you have on your machine, as it seems so fluid.

Thanks Wittpilot here are a couple of pic's with the light on.

This first picture is pretty old, I was still working on placing the guages properly...

I'm running a Core2Quad Q9450 @ 2.66 GHz with 4 gigs of DDR3 Ram, 2 Nvidia 9800 GTX + and 32bit Vista, I haven't even loaded FSX yet, I really need to give her a try. :redf:

"Hey Mom, can I go over to Slund's house to play?" :d That looks like great fun! :applause:

How did you get the gauges to display on the panel? Are those LCD monitors mounted there with the gauges displayed on them? Very interesting set up and one I wish my wife would buy me for my birthday.

The projector is a Sony, I don't remember the actual name of the projector :icon_lol: it's a few years old with a default resolution of 1024X768, I'm waiting to get one with a 1280X1024 native resolution. :jump:

The gauges are displayed on two 19" Lcd monitors, they are just 2D panels that I put together with FS Panel Studio. I've actually got 4 aircraft setup to fly in the pit each with their own individual panel setups.

This is the Carenado Mooney

and this is Lionhearts Epic LT, it wasn't finished when I took this picture and looks much better with the standby instruments and autopilot...etc installed.

Hey Brian, anytime your in Central British Columbia just drop by with a six pack of beer and you can fly her all you like. :ernae:

HMMMM.. I think it's time for an old (and OLD) Selkirk student to revisit the Kootenays. I assume the 6-pack is for AFTER the flying :ernae:
BTW, have you (or anyone else) investigated the possibilities of a dual-control set-up ( or is the right seat just for the Stewardess Mimi?)

Rob

Tres cool Slund.

Passengers aren't supposed to sit on the "vwing" are they? :costumes:

This reminds of something...
During the last FSweekend in Lelystad, by far the coolest exhibit according to Huub and myself was this:

Now all we need is a big lottery win...and a Mustang (JK)/Me109 (Huub) enclosure..

Yep, I was looking for pricing, but I guess that's still in the works. Very cool concept though, relatively compact although for apartment dwellers like myself, you'd need to upgrade to a 2bdrm (one for the sim, lol).:costumes:
