If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

NASCAR & Penalties

t hurts him for the "play offs",he wont get those 5 points for the win IF he makes it to the playoff now,AND its now known why he was dominant .once a team gets caught cheating...yes chad its still cheating..they watch you like a hawk.

It's points, money, a crew chief suspension, and now they will put the 22 team under a microscope. Cheating has been going on as long as there have been races and it's not going to stop now. NASCAR is a lot tougher on it this season.

But advancing is based on wins.....And if "X" team/driver wins all the races and stages till the end of the season and gets penalized after each win, doesn't make a difference....That driver/team will win the championship...

It is my understanding that the win does not count in making the chase. No points, lots of fines and suspensions but no victory credited towards the playoffs.

Meanwhile, back in the 'Real World Tin Top' competition, the Penske Fords placed 1-2 in race 7 of the Supercar series run in Western Australia today. (Saturday)
Qualified 1-2, set fastest qualifying and race laps, all with Roger looking on.
Race 8 is run Sunday and the cars will start 1-2 again.........:encouragement:
