Dominant win by Joey today - wouldn't surprise me if they won the championship!
Might've been closer if Harvick's teammate would have moved over..

Once again, good to see Truex Jr. running well...

Maybe, but had Harvick's team make moved over, that TV announcer, instead of saying "...might've been closer if Harvick's teammate would have moved over...", would have instead said "she's just not aggressive enough, such a shame... He just needed something to say at that moment.

Hey All,

Yeah dominant drive by Joey. Thank God he got away from Gibbs to show his talent. Danica did just fine - I've no doubt Kevin has no problem with her. Kevin getting second is great - a strong finish next week and then the "wildcard" - Talledega. This is kinda cool how all this is settin up. Lets use Kevin as an example - lets say Kevin gets a top 5 next week - then what should his strategy be for Talledega? Up front? Lay in the back and get positions at the end? What should Kevin do? You can ask the same question for most any driver still in. Strategy - always best when racing is based on strategy - for example I luv fuel mileage races.

Reminds me....I need to go back and count how many times you've said this here...Give us something new!:mixed-smiley-010:

Speaking of new...would be great to see Truex Jr (underdog) win it all! Joey winning would be new - but Joey has a powerhouse team behind him whereas Truex Jr does not.

After yesterdays Bathurst 1000 this is just 'Pussy Racing'.:biggrin-new:

FWIW, Marcus Ambrose was running in P5 toward the end of the 1000 when his co-driver (Scott Pye) had a front steering arm fail and had a very big hit against the wall coming out of the second turn.
Shame but the Penske team is quietly getting toward the pointy end of the grid.
And FWIW, Sébastien Bourdais was quite handy considering this was his first Bathurst 1000.
:triumphant:

I thought the two Kyles bumping into each other while one tried to fake getting onto pit road while the other faked getting out, at the exact same "space-time coordinate" was very entertaining. Don't know why Busch got a "pit road commitment penalty" though. He would have made it out ok had it not been for the other Kyle, and he didn't even hit the cone, the other Kyle did!

Looking at the replay, it appeared to me that even if Busch wasn't there, Larson turned in too late and wouldn't have been inside the cones...
