I have just managed to get winzip to do the job.
I will upload it shortly.
I gave up yesterday after mucking around with it for nearly 1/2 an hour.
It is a very annoying program. win.rar is much more user friendly.

Did i miss something....?

.....SStuart had added to his magnificent fleet and went to add his new cans to mine. The D/L side shows the new Porters but the side info bar says "status unkown" and clicking on the D/L responds with not available ? Real bummer ! Any idea what happened ?

Indeed.
But WinRar can use .ZIP format as well, all you have to do is selecting the desired file format.

Thanks Stuart for these latest beauties - all good now with the upload.

The easiest way is to let Windows compress the files. Just highlight and right click on the files/folders you want compressed and select "Send to Compressed (zipped) folder".

Stuart , The new cans have just finished up their shakedown cruises and have joined the on-line squadrons and they look great !!!

THANK YOU !! for all you do to bring these galloping ghosts of the past to life.
Reminds me of the salt spray and wet clothes and a world of perpetual rocking ,rolling and pitching. Remember, you don't serve on a can you ride it ! Ask any squid in any world wide Navy and we all say the same thing . A fraternity unto itself !

Wow Stuart you continue to add to the fleet in a marvelous way. Thank you so much. Is there a chance you could do a WWI version of the nice Gazelle cruiser model you have added in its WWII variants. I hope to expand my WWI fleet holdings for WWI, thank you again for stepping into Colin, Stuart, Talon and other's shoes to continue the fleet improvement and expansions. very much appreciated by this old sailorman.
