    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Military Props

Description: The Northrop P-61C Black Widow was the turbo-supercharged cousin to the P-61B. Heavily armed with a crew of three, eight guns and an on-board radar, the Widow was capable of hunting enemy aircraft in complete darkness. The fastest night fighter in the US inventory in World War Two, it was also capable of dogfighting with enemy aircraft half its size.

After the Second World War ended, the P-61C served with Project Thunderstorm in Florida, its crews flying deliberately into hurricanes to measure meteorological effects within storm cells.
