Occasionally a web site crosses your path. This one is exceptional. The bombing by the Condorgeshwader of an Atlantic convoy is something else. It shows a lot of interior detail of the aircraft.
I particulary liked the Black Cats in the Pacific. Theres so much to see on this site.

Great site!
Let me know if you like it.

Those german propaganda movies have to be watched with a great scepticism. I don't believe a single sortie is shown, but several ones. I even think some of the attack footage actually shows channel shipping or coastal shipping somewhere. The claim of the 15,000 tons sunk is more than probably an outright lie.
Good footage of the inside of the Condor though. A shame that the subtitles do not translate what is actually said in the movie.

Fantastic old archived footage on that site Helldiver, bookmarked for when I have more time to see some of the footage, great site. :applause:

i gotta stop chatting all day and search the net more...maybe i would find something great like this....lol

I liked the interior shots in the Condor vid. Those missions must've been cold for the flight crew, no wonder they had a whole carton of thermos bottles. :)

The stoic manner that the German General showed before the firing squad was just unbelievable. He might have been a devil but he was one brave devil.
I thought the way the Japanese prisoners on the Sub was very humane. It's too bad the Japs didn't reciprocate.

LOL @ that first attack...
the initial target is so small it seems to be a trawler of some sort.
and the bombing run...
that was a small freighter thhat probably would not have travelled all across the atlantic. anyway, it seems to have been attacked with a single 50kgs bomb... not a 250 or 500kg.
at 5.56 the dude is firing his single 7.7 at a medium sized cargo over a mile away! wtf? propaganda images all cross that flick...

dont let the Reichspropaganda get you!:banghead::costumes:

6-12 that looks like a fun gun run lol,
6-33 that a T-2 type oiler in the distance?
6-47 that one oiler is empty... no?
6-54 SSSSSSSTRIKE!

great fun all in all

From the First World War up to the Iraqi conflict they have film clips from every one.
That's right, it is Superman in the VD film. The Navy version of it was even more graphic.

HD, I betcha that's the one we got to see in boot camp in 1966. :d The story line was a destroyer crew who didn't take proper precautions on liberty. So many guys came down with VD that the ship couldn't defend itself in combat. Kinda far-fetched but it was graphic! ;)
