• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

P-38J Spoiler Sound

I thought at one time I had seen a sound file and modification that would enable the sound for the spoiler on the P-38J and later models.

Can anybody recall such a mod, and perhaps point me in the direction. :help:

EDIT: Ah, nevermind. I found what I needed.
 
Warhorse,.......I think,....but I could be very fuzzy on this,....David Copley's (DCC) P-38's aircraft might have this 'spoiler' sound you're looking for. Some of his Lightnings can be found here. I'm not sure if his web sight is still up or not. Good luck on your search.
Also,....check the 'Sounds' listings in CFS2. Lawdog had made some top shelf sound packages. I don't know if he did one for the Lightning though.....

 
Thanks, Brad. Your're right. I didn't have my dcc Lightnings close enough to figure it out at first, but eventually found them. I already had the gauge and sound files, and all I needed was to add a line to my panel.cfg.
