This is a repaint only for the WOP P-51D and WWII Fighters P-51D. This aircraft was recently completed by Fighter Rebuilders at Chino, CA, and is owned by The Fighter Collection, Duxford. This aircraft is joining Glacier Girl in the Chino-Duxford journey currently being undertaken. The original "Miss Velma" was piloted by Cpt. Frank Birtciel of the 343rd FS/55th FG. Currently residing in Arizona, a few days ago Mr. Birtciel and his wife Velma drove all the way to Chino to get a first hand...
