This is a repaint only for the WWII Fighters P-51D Mustang, in the markings of "Worry Bird," N951M, owned by Michael George. This aircraft's records show that it joined the 8th AF in April of 1945 and then returned back to New Jersey in July of 1945. Following WWII the aircraft served in a number of Air National Gaurd units before being purchased surplus by William Kelbaugh in 1958 - who literally saved the aircraft from the scrappers.
