P3D and FSX NOT dead

Good find. It shows why LM did not include a "front end", so the aviation companies can create their own for their particular needs/market.

Its great to see P3 taking the time and care to refine this monster of a simulator. The sim is HUGE and needed some tweaking. They are also bringing it to the next level.

I think Microsoft (personal views) were making some bad decisions at the time and by launching FSX ahead of time really messed things up. LM is doing an awesome job with it.

Smooth frames are golden...

Now, if all these clever brains improving the sim via P3D could maybe throw us NavAir fans a bone and tweak the Acceleration carrier ops parameters so the sim works as well with tail-dragger props as it does with tricycle-gear jets, that would be a nice improvement. Anybody at Lockheed-Martin wanna give it a shot? My FSX flight deck officers are getting a bit tired of me tearing up their deck planking with my prop when I catch a wire and nose over. :icon_lol:

and figure out a way to have a animated (moving) arresting wire...:salute: NC

Hell I would settle for a carrier that does not leave me behind after I land :icon_lol:

Still hats off to Aces... the team themselves created a sim with long legs. Heck the carrier did not even make it in the initial beta. After some cajoling... they got it in by the next beta. A moving carrier... then came Acceleration. In 2 years this sim will be a decade old.

Excellent work.... and looking forward to what LM has in mind for the next version.

Remember LM.... I am your man for carrier beta testing... I kept the dream alive! :jump:
