There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

So did you also keep V5? I have V4.5 and 5.4 that way, I can have both worlds. I don't care for having to have internet connection to playI don't share Cees opinion and it would be interesting to get more feedback from him.
I have switch to V6.1 several month ago and here are my feedback :
- Performance is much better with the SAME PC configuration
- I own a lot of ORBX scenery and since they provided the basic Global for V6 (5 products...), I can use almost all my other V5 scenery (and they are looking great)
- "Live Graphics" tone mapping option is very powerful and I no more use any shader add-on
The issue I have concern
- the new day and light option in the effects file. Very difficult to tune to adapt the V5 effects
- the change of dawn and dusk from day to night breaking the scenery appearance
- SSR and SSAO options break Terraflora look... Just turn them off.
Other V6 users opinions ?

You may still in the time period to return it and get the money back.If only I had known,
No, only for back up and ORBX scenery (very seldom) updated. I am more happy with V6.So did you also keep V5?
I recommend V5.4 - that seems to be a sweet spot for me personally.
