• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

here is a pic someone took of T911 on the robbers fire,near Iowa Hill,this is not far as the crow flies from my home,and a cople other SOH members live closer,but cant remember the name,(sorry)was a large fire started by an 18 year old male playing with fireworks in the yankee jims canyon on the northfork of the american river,dont remember the acerage but it was large,7 homes and out buildings were lost,Iowa hill is infamous around here for drugs and the fact they dont have power,they do use solor now,,but the only pacific gas and electric supplied power is to the bar/store/post office building,even the school has a generator,there is a trail,foot trail called stevens trail,famous for being a route from reno over into the sacramento valley during the pre gold rush days,people come from all over to hike it,but you have to be carefull as you dont leave the trail at anytime due to pot farms,,meth tents and gold miners at the river...
