If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Here's where I'll post my stuff! Kickin the fires. About to light the tires.

First leg complete. The weather was stinko! As I approached the airport the wind was behind me, about 14 knots, so I decide to extend out and land coming the other way. As I was completing my turn, from downwind, to base, to final, the wind slowly changed direction the whole time. By the time I was on final I had a tail wind again! You gotta love FS "real weather"!

One thing I did notice is that Duenna did not bust me for exceeding M1.0, even though I did, for a couple of times, albeit briefly. I will push it a bit more on the next one to where the limit is...

Taking off from Takhli (VTPI) and headed east to Khorat (VTUN)

Landed safely at Khorat, but I did get busted for speeding... Think the "Rhino" folks here will mind if I borrow one of their parking spots?

Thanks Roman! Made it to Udon, but not without being busted by the Thai Highway Patrol (again)...

Headed north, across Laos and into "Route Pack 5" to Dienbien. That's a small airport, and sunk in small FS terrain induced valley. And it was raining!

Made it to Hanoi. Wasn't sure where to park. The radio was pretty quiet as I was taxiing around the airport. Not sure what was up with that. I guess they went NORDO. Thunderstorm, or something. I found these MiG-21s parked over on one side, and figured this must be the place. Sure are tiny aren't they? Nobody around though. I hope they don't mind. Gotta find the O'Club, ask 'em where to get a good hot dog and a beer...

VTUW - VTUU. Busted for speeding again. My squadron CO said, "you're gonna' drive me to drinkin, bud' If you don't stop drivin' that Hot Rod Thunder Thud."

Yeah, that one's been around a while... :)

Made it to Da Nang. Got another speeding ticket. Put it in the glove box with the rest...

O.T. ...

On my last flight to Da Nang, I passed by the Dam Thuy Tu lagoon, or whatever that body of water is, north of Da Nang. Here's two pics: One from my F-105 cockpit during tonight's flight. The other, same place, but from the window of a Delta 767 four days ago... :)
