• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

is anyone else still waiting? there isn't much on the official forum other than the 'maybe 1-2 days before it shows up' and 'a handful of people have said they got it'

Yeah, I've seen people saying it arrived about a day after preorder. It'll be in your Content Manager as an uninstalled aircraft.
 
right - been checking that - we're at the ol' fishing hole then, just gotta wait for it to bite

Haha I won't go that far yet.... I took it up for only about 10mins after figuring out how to start it. I like it, but definitely need a target for it to drop on so cant wait for MSFS24
 
Stupid me. I didn't even know this was part of the pre order. Guess I should have been paying more attention. It was in my content manager after I read this thread. Not sure how long it was there.
 
It took about 4 hours to show up in mine. I had restarted a few times due to things I was doing outside the sim, and rearanging stuff in the files locations.
 
It's been two days for me now. Anyone wait that long? Do I need to do something to trigger the download?

It showed up in my download list, I ordered it the first day but it did not show up, I was then away for the weekend and today when we returned it was there. Plane is nice, no autopilot I could find though.
 
I doubt CL-415s typically have autopilots. Their mission profile is such that they’d likely only be useful when ferrying to a new base
 
Pre-Ordered the Aviator Editon from AeroSoft, but through my regular Microsoft Account....no Canadair for me yet....and I preordered on the day of the announcement.
Not sure how this process does work...but then again. It's not like I have nothing else to fly with :ROFLMAO:
 
Yes I've purchased but not pre-installed. The day after purchase, the CL-415 was in my Content Manager's "Not installed" list.
 
ok - I haven't pre-installed either because I'm probably not going to use this PC - I just wondered if that had anything to do with the CL-415 not showing up.
 
I purchased 2024 about an hour ago (Steam) and the CL-415 was in the Content Mgr waiting to be installed.

Ok - It just showed up in my CM an hour ago - not sure why it took a full week but I have it now.
