RAF Down Ampney FS9

RAF Down Ampney FS9 2024-07-07

No permission to download
Thought it was time to christen the new Resources, i was suposed to kick this out the door around June 6th, but ive been a bit busy
But ive taken a weekend off and kicking it out the door now :)

RAF Down Ampney,
Home of 48 and 271 transport sqds with Douglas Dakotas and Airspeed Horsa glider's dropping elements of the 3rd parachute brigade
into Normandy on June the 6th

This was originally Gary(20)Burn's scenery from way back, ive just tweaked the ADE, and traffic, moved and added objects
If you have most of my scenery's, you'll have all the objects ive used.
If you have Golden wing's, use the BGLs in the "GW-BGLs" folder.
For traffic, ive used "jai_c-47.zip" by Michael Pearson from Avsim, i was going to use the John Young C47
but MAIW are having there own file moving issue's so i went for this one

Ive also removed all trace's of RAF Fairford, just a few miles to the north, so your not flying over a modern stock airfield,
when i have more time on my hands, i may do a period ADE for the airfield as well
