RAZBAM LTV A-7 Corsair II released

Dimus,

I can't remember how to get the address for the original post, but if you check post #37 in this thread by Dag, he figured it out and posted how to fix it.

... and this issue is being fixed in the patch. My two HAF repaints, here at SOH also uses that same model.

Thanks

Thanks!

That post somehow escaped me. I'll certainly go look for those repaints Dag!

Looking forward to the patch and the manual.

what are the chances that the sitting stance will be corrected in the patch?

I've tried the solution given by Bruse448 and that just sinks the gear into the ground by moving the contact points below ground level. Is there any other way to fix this other thabn a model fix? I know this seems anal but it also seems anal with the engine failure bit, so why not have a correct sitting model too? :applause:

Notice the plated area of the nose landing and its size relative to the landing gear. Also the main gear doors in relation to the main mount tires.

Gents:
So these are the changes/upgrades made in the patch:

Fixed:
missing cockpit lights effects
HUD
AOA indexer
Early A-7D cockpit layout, the RHAW side panel was not present in the 1973 bird , but from 1978 onwards.

Added:
Pilot´s Manual.
2 new maps psd´s for external tanks & pilot.
Automatic Maneuver Flaps (AMF) for 1975 onwards A-7D model with the pertinent cockpit switch.
Auto engine smoke(in fact, when you throttle up, an additional puff of smoke appears).

Patch will be present in 2 formats:
The patch itself including ONLY the changes/additions
The whole package since the store´s files will be updated.
Either case, it´s a .zip file with an .exe inside.

NO REALISM CHANGES, we kept the bird as real as we could simulate it.

Patch will be released in the coming hours.

Best regards

Thank you Prowler!

Just a reminder not to forget the Contact points/slew corrections..

I'm not certain this will change the stance as the way the plane sits is pretty much static in the model, but at least now, all the angles are correct to the model and she wont bounce around on you..

I'm having a few problems for some reason there are no lights on the left wind and also I cant get the radar scope to scan, the moving map is fine but the radar itself isn't looking as it should with the scanner moving from side to side, infact it doesn't seem present at all! is this me doing something wrong or not?

You must select a radar mode before something appears on the radar scope. The radar mode buttons are to the left of the power button. Just click on any of them to see the display.

BCN = Beacon mode.
AGR = Air-to-Ground Ranging (limited functionality. Blame FSX for that).
TA = Terrain Avoidance.
GMP = Ground Map Pencil.
GMS = Ground Map Shaped.

Don't worry. The manual will be out today along with the patches and additions.

Prowler, any update on patch release ETA? I literally am awaiting the release of the manual and the updates before flying again and have a brand new X65F that I'm dying to try out on the update.

Also, hijacking my own thread..you should look closely to Zeus´ avatar...hint to something being scheduled right now..

You're gonna love that X-65F ! Set the forces to the rudder axis a bit light :)

Thanks
