This folder contains a repaint for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX by Real Air. It shows Spitfire XVIc TB991, which was a Spitfire flying with RAF 349 (Belgian) squadron at the end of the war. After the war, the aircraft was one of 27 Spitfires that were loaned by the Belgian government from the RAF, until MK XIV's could be delivered. Most of these loaned Spitfires were returned to the RAF, but TB991 was damaged in an accident at Beauvechain in 1947, and deemed too far gone to be returned...
