Remedy to Steve's Direct X 10 Fixer in 2025?

Ill be honest, i tried enabling direct x ten and immediately took a 7-12 fps hit, but noticed amazing testimonials for Steve's DX10 fixer, but unfortunately he removed the product and did not upload it as freeware, total bummer.

I noticed there is a freeware that addresses things such as runway flicker, etc, but i heard whatever Steve's program did was magic for FPS.

Is there any tips to getting DX10 in the future, i might need more Vram anyways.

Can't help you there.

But I can say that Steve's DX10 Scenery Fixer, and Cloud Shadow add-on, was the real deal and made a world of difference for me in FSX. The only reason why I stopped using FSX is because Steam pulled the plug on Windows 7 and 8 users. I still run Windows 7, so my only option was to move over the X-Plane 11.
