cool thing about that video for me,ive seen 90% of what was shown in person allready...kinda cool
 
I had a TEENY TINY part in Duncan Cameron's Consolidated-Vultee Stinson OY-1, restored to it's Iwo Jima condition. We (my sign shop) did several of the stencils and a placard for it. He's flying it out there, probably still flying it today, since its a three day trip and he left late Friday. The pilot who flew it on many (all?) the Iwo Jima missions is also being flown out to Reno for a reunion flight in it.
 
Did I see a Spartan Executive at the begining of that piece? They didn't mention one in the video, but it sure looked like one. I'd like to see one of those up close!

i gotta say, if it was me, i don't think i would go. i can't imagine spending decades trying to forget the things i saw in a war, only to go and meet up with the plane i flew day in and day out. maybe i'd remember people and things i'd rather not. good luck to that guy.

Can't say I disagree, but I don't have a war experience to re-live. According to the owner, the pilot seems quite excited and interested in the experience...maybe that will change in person, or maybe he feels some affection toward the machinery that not only took him into war, but brought him back out. Everyone probably has their own feelings about that, depending on the experiences they had.
