hello all
i am asking what are the needs to run this as i have just 1.5 gig and just run fs2004 thank you nigel

"yer gonna need a bigger boat...."

you can try to run it with all settings at their minimum with your rig - but in all honesty and to enjoy RoF properly - which can be done on a mid range spec. machine - you will need to upgrade.

I spent about $1200 two years ago on a rig that I wanted to run Il2 '46 Maddox combat flight sim on and it runs RoF reasonably well with medium settings and AA/AF @ 8x

you need at least 3.0ghz CPU and a good video card along with at least 2gigs of RAM to get RoF to run decently....

My current machine has a 3.4g dual core P4 CPU and a Zotac 8800gt 512 GPU and 2gigs of good Corsair RAM
you can have one made at a shop for about 8 or $900 bucks today but if you want to get ahead of the curve and run Windows 7
on a Quadcore chip with max RAM you will need to double that amount or more.

Got mine running on a Intel Core2Duo E4600 @ 2.4 gig
with 4 gig of ram and an sli set up of nVidia 7600 gs
and xp pro and video at 1440x990

She runs fine! :)
